Portugal

Peniche, Portugal is home of the portuguese pipeline known as "supertubos" or "supertubes". after 3 days of surfing this break i can say it lives up to its name. The city of peniche is a small fishing villiage with a surfing vibe. there are surrounding beaches able to catch offshore winds from just about any direction.

Consolacao, Portugal is south of Peniche's Supertubos. Nice quality break but it really wasn't doing it the day I was there.

Baleal, Portugal is a small area Northwest of Peniche. it offers scenic views, great surf and the nightlife. There is also a small island from which most of these shots were taken.

Sagres, is in southern portugal. The water is a bit warmer and the surrounding areas draw more tourist than up north. It is 30 mins north of lagos and a couple hours south of lisbon. the photos do not do the size of this wave justice. it was easily double to triple overhead on the sets.
